Cryoslim appointments involve cryolipolysis, a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that uses freezing temperatures to target and eliminate fat cells. You can lose up to two inches in a single treatment!

Here’s how you can prepare for your Cryoslim appointment with Love Your Body and ensure you get the best results:

  1. Learn About the Procedure: Make sure you understand what cryoslim entails, including how it works, potential side effects, and expected results. This will help manage your expectations and ensure you’re fully informed before the appointment.   2. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment. Hydration can help improve the efficacy of the treatment and minimize any potential side effects.
  3. Avoid Sugar and Carbs: Do not consume sugar (including carbohydrates) two (2) hours before the CryoSlimming treatment, as sugar will give unwanted energy to the fat cells and reduce the efficiency of the treatment. If possible, avoid sugar for four (4) to five (5) hours before the CryoSlimming session. This applies to all kinds of sugar and carbohydrates (pasta, rice, bread, cereals, etc.), as well drinks with sugar.
  4. Eat a Light Meal: Avoiding carbs does not mean to not eat. We encourage you to have a light meal with protein and fat before your appointment, but avoid consuming a large meal immediately beforehand. You want to be comfortable during the procedure, and a heavy meal may cause discomfort.
  5. Avoid Sun Exposure: Limit your exposure to direct sunlight and avoid tanning beds before your appointment. Sunburn or tanned skin can increase the risk of adverse reactions to the treatment.
  6. Wear Comfortable Clothing: Choose loose, comfortable clothing to wear to your appointment. You may need to expose the treatment area during the procedure, so opt for clothing that can be easily removed and won’t restrict movement.
  7. Do Not Heat the Body: In order to freeze your fat, we need to drop your body temperature in the treated area. Avoid anything that will elevate your core temperature. For example, do not exercise, sit in a sauna, sit in a hot car, eat a heavy meal or drink hot beverages immediately before a session, as it will be harder to cool the body down and complete the treatment effectively.
  8. Ask Questions: If you have any questions or concerns about the procedure or the preparation process, don’t hesitate to ask your provider. It’s essential to feel confident and informed before undergoing any cosmetic procedure.
