Understanding the dosing progression of our Compounded Semaglutide is crucial to getting the most out of your treatment. By following a structured dosage chart, you can ensure you take the right dose for you and optimize its therapeutic benefits, while minimizing potential adverse effects.

At Love Your Body, we only offer Compounded Semaglutide and adhere to FDA-recommended dosage progressions.

We recommend a starting dosage of only .125 MG and slowly progress to 1.25 MG. We will then consult with you to decide if you should maintain, increase or decrease your ongoing dosage. 

We have found this slow progression to be the most effective for patients to lose weight while mitigating adverse effects. Every patient is different, however, and our medical provider will consult with you regarding your specific dose. We will prescribe up the maximum dosage of 2.5 MG when medically necessary.

Semaglutide helps patients eat less and feel fuller when they do eat by targeting an area in the brain (called GLP-1 receptors) that regulate your appetite. You'll feel fuller quicker, and it lasts longer, allowing you to forget about cravings and get on with your life!
